The Crane Estate in Ipswich, Massachusetts stole my heart immediately when I arrived to photograph Kristian + Matthew’s wedding day. I knew it would be stunning, but I was in awe! As a lover of historic things, this place had my jaw on the floor all day long.
Kristian + Matthew’s day was filled with so much love. Every human there was so inviting and kind. Not to mention, they knew how to have a good time. From the day I met them for their engagement session these two felt like friends, and their friends and family quickly followed suit.
Every detail about this day was absolutely stunning. From Kristian’s Sarah Seven dress, the flowers blooming all over the estate, the birds singing during their ceremony, to the incredible florals done by Rococo Floral Co. I think I said “wow” probably a billion times during my time there.
This was the day that made me realize what truly inspires me- and that’s couples that appreciate art, historic estates, and timeless style. This wedding set my soul on fire and I will never forget it. I have photographed over 150 weddings in my career and Crane Estate is still my favorite venue I’ve been to to date. I can’t wait to go back in 2024!
Back to the venue for a moment – The Crane Estate is like no other. I literally cannot even begin to explain the vibes here. If I lived closer, I would absolutely come here and sit and read in my free time. There is nothing like it and I highly, highly recommend visiting the Crane Estate if you ever find yourself in Ipswich, Massachusetts!
